By love of our ground, of our vineyard, we perpetuate with passion, the methods of culture and wine makings inherited our ancestors. The new techniques are however not foreign for us.

A SOIL
On the argillaceous slopes, limestones, very stony, talks full southern and flooded with sun, with the c?ur of a typically Mediterranean nature where the flora impregnates its scents the flavours of our wines, we created a vineyard with a strong percentage of noble type of vines, Syrah, Mourvèdre, Merlot, Cabernet, Sauvignon, Grenache, Cinsault, Chardonnay, white Grenache and white Sauvignon, Muscat small grains.
Our soil occurs in the Mediterranean and is spread out to the buttress of the Cevennes over the communes of the west of Montpellier, between Frontignan and Argeliers.
In this ocean of scrubland of 20.000 hectares, we established from the Roman surface to the cleared patch of Montarnaud 1200 hectares of vines which cross several zones of productions:
Hills of Moure, Slopes of Languedoc, Sandstones of Montpellier, Saint-Georges of Orques and the Valley of Montferrand. This soil complexes and varied allows us to annually develop a broad line of goods of quality.

NOS INSTALLATIONS
We have three wine storehouses of wine makings of a total capacity of 180.000 HL equipped with modern materials of transformations.
Two wine storehouses with barrel allow ageing.

WINE OF QUALITY
Oenologists and stockbreeders apply last technologies to work out vintages resulting from selected pieces. Taking away of maturity, rigorous selection of healthy bunches and not mutilated grains are required to optimize irreproachable grape harvest.
The certification is the result of a Draconian process of wine making in which maceration, fermentation, racking, pressing, classification, tastings and breeding out of tank or barrel are the essential stages.
Conditioning with propiété is carried out by means of a mobile workshop of which the ultramodern equipment guaranteed an irreproachable result and the origin of the products on a all our effort scale of quality.

TRADITIONS
The tradition of the "STRAW MATTRESSES" is perpetuated each year by the inhabitants of Cournonterral.
